Seamless and energetic, with vibrant acidity keeping the flavors under wraps today but also extending them on the long fresh finish. Firm, dusty but noble tannins call for patience. This wine is called Corte Vaona in reference to the ancient paved courtyard (or cone, in Italian) located before the estate’s main house, which has been owned by the Vaona family since the mid-18th century.
